Jon Simpson, a native of Boston, currently resides in Hancock, New Hampshire. He received a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Music from Dartmouth College in June, 2008. The son of two musicians, Jon has been performing vocal music for his entire life, most recently as a tenor soloist with the Dartmouth College Glee Club in Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass. He also sang with the Dartmouth Aires, the college’s oldest a cappella group, for four years. In serving as the group’s Business Manager over his senior year, he produced over 45 shows for the group along with managing domestic and international tours. Jon interned at the Boston Lyric Opera/Opera New England in the winter of 2007, filling in as the Office Manager. In the spring of 2007, Jon studied voice at the Royal College of Music in London, England, while also taking music history classes and attending over 35 concerts over a 10-week span.
