Rafael Popper-Keizer has been featured as a soloist throughout the US, including recitals in New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall, at the Phillips Collection in Washington, DC, and as a guest artist on the faculty concert series at Grinnell College. At Tanglewood in 1998 and 1999, he had the opportunity to work with Mstislav Rostropovich, and to understudy Don Quixote for Yo-Yo Ma with Seiji Ozawa. He has concertized with members of the Borromeo and Muir String Quartets, the Boston Trio, the Museum of Fine Arts Trio, and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Popper-Keizer has made recent appearances in the Rockport Chamber Music Festival, the “Contrasts” Festival of Contemporary Music in Ukraine, and the International Musical Arts Festival in Maine. He has played at Monadnock Music since 2003.
